    Petra forwarded this about commuting to London from Europe. Something I've been trying to figure out how to do successfully for some time.

    Comments at the bottom are quite interesting for anyone thinking about it. Although one comment in there:

    "That life style is environmentally totally irresponsible."

    I can't really argue with that but then again, while Blair and his chums are busy bombing sandpits and doing their best to create more nuclear waste than they can ever cope with, I figure I can still consider it.

    True. If there's intellectually no route out, moral relativism can always do the heavy lifting for you.

    We need to get to a stage where we 'work' in London 'virtually'. It's the world of 'e' and it's changing everything. I saw the adverts.

    Intellectually no route out? I do have one, which involves my commitment to no more children, wrapping up this experiment and letting Franky and Benjy move onto their next idea, but i thought I should keep it to commuting, cheap travel and Europe.

    But yes, most of these articles miss the point that its a stepping block to moving permanently.
