Hello urbanm, welcome to the riviera.
Bunch of new members have joined that I haven't introduced. Al, Dreadlocks, Giles, Ian, Lucky and poxy. There are probably others, but forum moderation in recent weeks can probably be best described as 'slapdash'. Sorry.
Please introduce yourselves, being sure to share a few key nouns that will help the rest of us google-stalk you.
Hello to Purbbs. Do say hello.
Hi Michael. You've moved to the right place.
I've added some slightly subtler 'I heart' badges for less confident.

"start doing this"
by my reckoning you were doing it Friday night.
And if you take a pub into a laptop and find someone staring at you - that's Lucy too.
Go for your life 4Is. "Four Eyes imagining what girls on the internet look like" - I can't imagine that's a thread that anyone has a view on....
Hello!
Great list. You'll fit right in.
Symposium, and very good it is too. I've just added it to the Directory.
Oh no Ruth, it's still exciting. Welcome on behalf of the older SGers - Andy normally does this job but he's on holiday at the moment. I too have a cat (as do other SGers Petra and David) so don't let Plum's famousness put you off...
I was thinking just today that my road, Shaftesbury Road, was the best situated road in SG. They must both be on some sort of lay line!
Do I live in Upper SG living in Granville?
Or is it SG Heights?
Ruth, I can't even consider Stapleton Hall Rd as I had a long drawn out battle with Haringey, Islington and eventually Thames water when my car was seriously damaged by a pothole from the burst water mains. Although the road says Borough of Islington it's managed by Haringey, who are even more incompetent.
we can make you James if you'd rather be James? Welcome James!
There are a bunch of new members signed up over the last week or so, including kitty, lynne, sarah and possibly others I've forgotten.
done. check me out, I managed to do that without breaking the entire site.
Hello Rory.
Cat owners are out-numbering dog owners significantly now!
We occasionally let in a tabby that wanders the Trinder "L" and most of Shaftesbury Road. Very well behaved, thirsty and has great taste in antique chairs! We don't feed it as we know it must have a real owner.
Hello Groli!
It's an NZ thing I believe.
Welcome Tone, I too lived over Essex Road (well, St. Peters, just off) for a while. The SGR rules.
When explaining to those who are Tied to the Tube, it is imperative you use FP. Even bona fide Crouchenders (yuck - imagine) have to resort to it.
I'm technically UH so I put it on my address. My post still gets lost or delivered seriously late - a week for a birthday card from stoke newington!
Welcome flembo. Another great name to add to the members list. And another cat owner, which is always to be encouraged. In fact, I think we might be in the majority now...
Prior to the smoking ban and the joy that is the Fullback's Ewok Village, the Tavern had two or three precious outside tables that were the sole Stroud Green local outside drinking capabilities. The back end of the Tavern has a big screen that always seems to play vintage British comedy, that classic retro Costa Blanca mix of live Billy Connolly, Monty Python and 'Allo 'Allo.
A new friend of my Hunter should be joining soon. Could go by the name skarab (don't ask)
There's been a rush of new bods recently. We've got a skarab signed up. We've also got an Ed and a thrifty Eddy.
All say hello, please!
Hello!
Are you really magic/a magician/named after an obscure Japanese video game?
I loved that song.
It was on when I was at primary school. So that'll be somewhere between the end of the Falklands War and before the first episode of Capital City.
Welcome - I think you're in the right place judging by your blog.
(BTW, Andy and David invented this. They are jolly good fellows.)
hello to a couple more newies, Seagul and lottie.
introduce yourselves, don't be shy.
(katiej - gold star in the post)
Welcome Nix - if you have happened upon SGR as your first London residence, then you are lucky indeed. And if you are on SGR then there is no doubt - you live in Stroud Green. Andy invented a lovely T shirt to deal with just such issues...

(It's on the second page.)
I recently moved house, and the postcode the estate agent gave me was wrong too. Royal Mail's postcode finder is handy for such circumstances:
Another flurry of new members, norix, mr sheen and lucy_luge Can you all say hello?
If you give mr sheen umpteen things, then, if it's his really name, he will shine them clean!
yes
@poxy: Go to "Account" in the top bar, then "personal information" in the left hand sidebar and I think you can edit your name there.
