    A cambelt
    A cambelt adjuster
    An inlet manifold
    Some o-rings (these were v cheap)
    Oil
    Antifreeze
    A radiator
    A clutch
    A thermostat
    and 7 hours of a delightful chaps labour.

    This all goes alongside the engine block that I bought last week.

    I turned down a 'power-flush'.

    I am now thousands of pounds down. I hate that fucking car.

    So, i've now got my car back.

    For all the earlier talk of sustainable consumption, i did have to have an entirely new engine fitted BUT for carefully considered ethical reasons, I chose to have a recycled engine recovered from an old car. How environmentally friendly is that?

    Other facts about the environmental friendliness of my car are probably best not pointed out.

    Computer now officially dead. In the last month, pretty much everything I won with a cash value over £100 has broken.

    All I need now is official confirmation of subsidence to finish the month with a bang.

    Anyone got any racing tips? Ideas for lottery numbers.
