Anyone else noticed the presence of our resident bunch of Stroud Green hoodies hanging around lately?

They seem to be off/skiving/suspended from school at the moment because a band of about 4 of them are patrolling the streets during the daytime. I saw them this lunchtime trying car doors along Upper Tollington.

Ringleader looks like a skinny white lad (hood permanently up obv). I saw him being bundled into a police van opposite the White Lion a couple of weeks ago but he's stalking around the streets again.

I've noticed them, at the top of Osborne Road, the group keeps getting bigger. I think they live in the flats there. They don't really give me any trouble, I live the other end of Osborne. They bother me though, they're too old to just be hanging around and going up and down the road on bikes. It's just a waste. I guess they'll be there all summer now. Feels like something could kick off.

A while ago I read in the Safer Neighbourhood Team's newsletter about a residential burglary on UTP. The police arrived as the three burglars made off on their bikes, dropping stolen items along the way. One of them was identified leading to three arrests - the kids were aged 12 and 13.

Like they'd leave it at a beating. But given the way the Catholic Church has still yet to be raided and shut down like any other paedophile ring would have been by now, maybe wandering priest squads administering punitive sodomy is one vigilante approach to youth crime which the police would be happy to overlook.
