Dairy Pub Quiz when there's footy on?

Supposed to be going to the Pub Quiz at the Old Dairy tonight, appears to be on according to their website.

Wondering if it's worth the bother though as there's a big/unusual footy game on (Man U. vs Rangers) - do they usually cancel the quiz when there's games on?

Can't be bothered phoning them etc...

It's many years since I last quizzed at the Old Dairy, but when there was a football match they used to show the game and then start the quiz.

Not sure, think we thought it was a crustacean. The question was "What's the slowest fish?" Whatever the f*** that means.
Still, might have been a bit better than the Silver Bullet quiz last week - no one attended ("due to England game") and they showed Team America instead.

I'd have got that - it was discussed on QI.

They can also move their eyes independently in seperate directions and are one of only three creatures where the male gives birth to it's own offspring.

They are indeed quite interesting (if you like that sort of thing).

A good quizmaster will have a limit on the number of people a team can have, I reckon.

Or, the system the Queens in Crouch End uses, penalise (with advance notification) by a certain number of points for members past a given limit. Means people who are primarily there as a social thing can still sit together, without giving them an unfair advantage.
