My experience with getting a skip at short notice and being able to get my parents car in the area for a few hours without racking up a sizable debt to the courts has to go in Haringey's favour.
Are the shops on either side split between the boroughs?
You're missing out Petek, Triangle, Home, Londis, Threshers, the Parkland Walk and the cycle park outside the station. And my recycling doesn't end up in a landfill in Indonesia.
Four Eyes, you need to vote by clicking above, mere words won't silence Overlord Andy Martin.

Liz has been conducting a survey on this very subject, through the honourably scientific method of asking cab drivers. Ask a cabby to take you to Finsbury Park and you get dropped off in Blackstock Road.
Doug's view (as I remember) was that the centre of "Stroud Green" was the Old Dairy/Larrik crossroads.
The bit you've described is the Stroud Green council ward. By that definition, west of SGR should be called "Tollington", but no-one says that.
For all that, most of the time I say I live in Finsbury Park.
No, that would be Florence, according to Four Eyes.
You now have to use the native term: via Firenze
I can retract your vote if you so wish Pete.
Now, I may be in a unique position having lived in both boroughs (Islington now, Harringey a few years ago, albeit in South Tottenham).
Although there are some terrible things about Islington (speed bumps and CPZ being uppermost amongst them), I'm definitely happier on this side of the border. Harringey were inefficient at the most basic things (rubbish, recycling, billing you council tax effectively) and were also more expensive by quite a long way, which surely has to be a deciding factor. I've used quite a lot of Islington services, like the bulky rubbish collection, car collection, planning office, etc and they've generally been pretty good.
Also, the debate about what's included on both sides seems to be missing the bleeding obvious: we've got Islington proper (the area, not the borough) and you've got Tottenham. Case closed.
I've used quite a lot of Islington services
May I point out you don't own a car. A quick shortcut to satisfaction with Islington Council.
hmm, not agreeing Liz,
You list rubbish, recycling, billing you council tax effectively as poor in Harringey but these are all good. Maybe they weren't when you were here but they sure are now. They even call me back or reply to my emails, something Islington never did for me while I was in that side.
Citing Islington proper - a long road full of chains 15 mins drive away (traffic permitting) is neither relevant to Stroud Green nor really clear in value. What does Islington proper actually mean? I could probably cite we can get out of London towards Ipswich 2 minutes quicker and have just as much relevance.
Ha - the claws have come out.
David's getting aggressive because we mentioned the fact that he lives in the borough with Tottenham in it and we live in the borough with Arsenal in it.
Game over.
Not at all. You can have the travelling hords of football supporters going to a game. I'm happy to visit from the other side. We have Stroud Green proper.
By that thinking Andy, you should be living in Swindon.
David and Andy, were you sitting next to each other drunk in Andy's flat when you posted that lot?
what a lovely read.
I've voted for Islington, having lived in the borough for over 7 years now. Still hate their parking stuff though and Fordie, don't ask for CPZ, it's not worth it!
I feel this poll is null and void. Everyone is just voting for the side they live in. We could have just published stats on users locations for the same result.
Otherwise, we would have won, obviously.
Obviously.
And whatever the outcome, at least we can all be grateful that we don't live in Hackney.
Something for us all to agree on.
Have you been to London Fields Lido or Broadway market recently? It's poncier than Islington proper.
Filthy Halal meat shops arent' though. Serious concentration of them on the lower Islington side.
argh it's 50 - 50! Have you been rigging the votes David?
No I haven't. I never do. Not even when ignorant people vote against lovely waffles without trying them first.
I have just looked up some old election results: http://www.islington.gov.uk/Council/Political/VotingAndElections/CurrentElections/electionresults2006.asp
Richard Watts recieved 1,312 votes in the Tollington Ward, which he has now declared for Islington in the Islington v Haringey debate.
I've got a good mind to allocate them on the survey unless someone can trump me with a Haringey councillor.
Or Jeremy Corbyn, then it's game over.
http://www.haringey.gov.uk/index/council/voting/haringey_elects.htm
Laura Edge for Stroud Green, 1,739 votes.
She has to register on the forum
I don't think Andy has lost a forum survey before, that's why he's busy trying to move the goal posts I assume.
I cannot believe that haringey is winning or is their parking better?
Don't dispair lucy, as I said before, I think this vote is a little hackneyed as everyone is simply going to vote for the area they live in, so more a reflection of geography rather than which side is better.
There. Aren't I nice, softening the blow for you that our side is far superior to yours?
If hackneyed can be a verb, then surely 'haringeyed' and 'islintgoned' should be words too.
Swindoned has something Paul Newmaned/Robert Shawed about it.
Me too, though I am slightly further into Harringey, but not much. Main difference is that the bin men come about 6.30 in the morning every Tuesday and wake me up. Grrrr.
How does the scoring work Colette, I'm confused.
I like the logo, it reminds me of the CE town hall.
And I love the enigmatic spelling.

Oh lord it has been rebranded hasn't it - the one on the welcome sign has a lovely Festival of Britain feel to it.
I'll take photo and try to post it somewhere on here.
Has Enfield moved to Wales during the earthquake?
I quite like that new logo (though I think it will date quickly) Reminds me of this:
