krappyrubsnif - i thought your thread about the ye olde stroud green drinking club badge at the museum was a top thread.because it was creating a new interesting local history story yourself rather than commenting on things like most of us do; and i was interested to read the story in the local paper too about stapelton pub in sg rd where they took up your story. that went beyond what most threads are in my opinion...so your thread wins best thread award for me...

for me many sg.org threads are good to read as its real people talking about the local area - not just wot media say...

@chrisn4 you flatter me (simper).     About time the Mayor and Corporation had another meeting.

I think the Mayor should step in and reintroduce a stocks (real and offline).
