I think I'm slightly late to this album, but I'm loving Thunder! Lightning! Strike!

I don't know if it was intentional, but for me it's perfectly captured being a 12 year old in the late 80s. And if that isn't a recommendation, I don't what is.

The tunes in my head are normally a mix of bad eighties rap-pop, synth prog pop, the theme tune from the Rockford Files and everything on this album. Which makes the Go! team a snapshot of my subconscious.

It's like they've taken Grandmaster Flash, Battle of the Planets, Kick Start, the Kids from Fame, a ZX spectrum and the smell of a junor school playground and run it through a Rap'tou

Go! Team rock. The most fun band I've seen live for a long time - they have a load of trackie wearing girls with amazing hair who do the singing (rather than a bunch of scally kids, which is what I assumed it would be to start with).
