Well, we're moving into Florence Road on monday/tuesday and have a rack of friends who hate the tubes.

Whats the key bus routes/tips for getting in and out of central town?

19 takes you to highbury corner, then to holborn + picc circus.

4 does the same route until Angel, then goes into the city and Waterloo

29 to Camden, then onto Trafalgar Sq

    The rest are crap.

Don't forget the cheeky overland that goes into Moorgate.

Petra already discovered the cheeky overground as she works in old street. So only consider the 19,4 & 19. The rest are crap. Good short lowdown. ta.

To be honest, the tube is so quick, you'd be mad to get the bus.

Welcome to the hood. I like the 91, which goes down Hornsey Road to King's Cross, Euston, Holborn and Trafalgar Square eventually, though don"t try getting it in the mornings (full of people from Crouch End). I come home on it most days from Kings Cross and it's pretty quick. Also, depending on which end of Florence Road you are, it might be quicker going to Harringay for the Moorgate train

    Thanks Liz.

We're at the top end so Harringey is a top tip...

also more chance of getting a seat, what with FP being such a big interchange.

The 91 is the one that goes to your old flat, David.

Hi Plum, soon we'll be neighbours. Can't wait for you to meet Angel.
Lucy, maybe we should start a new discussion...on pets...

    Finsbury Park?
Doesn't have a great reputation, does it?

But I can't wait to walk all of Parkland Walk (that's the name..?)
Even thinking of putting Angel on the lead and take him for a walk.

Do you think Stroud Green is ready for a Main Coon out on a stroll?
