It's surreal. If it wasn't bad enough working in Covent Garden and regularly queuing up in Pret and Eat with ex-Eastenders working in the latest bad musical to hit the centre of town (Lord of the Rings, anybody? cripes.), I go to Londis to get my usual paper, croissants this morning and 'Soap Veteran (sic)' Barbara Young is standing there with similar paper and croissants.

It reminded me of getting on the W7 up Stroud Green and Scarlett Johnson aka Vicki Fowler sitting in the chair infront of me. We also saw her in Jacks buying some booze with what we guessed were her parents. She seemed very nice and polite.

It's all a bit confusing, you watch telly, go out and the telly is out on the street looking back at you. Its almost enough to start a Stroud Green Soap Star category on these forums.
who are these people?
the one who looks like she's chewing a wasp? up your game young man.
Lucy, have you never watched Family Affairs?
what is family affairs? I'm not kidding.
I really have to start watching British TV if I ever want to have any kind of acting career post drama school!
I've seen the bloke out of Travis a few times in Crouch End.
I wouldn't recognise someone out of eastenders if they were chewing a wasp in front of me.
Ah - she's the one I saw in Banners and thought I knew. I didn't know i knew her off the telly.
myspace stroudgreenroad claims the bloke out of Razorlight eats in Nando's.
How about James McAvoy and Anne-Marie Duff in Tesco's on SGR?
It was ages ago though - back when I still used to go to Tesco.
Also Mariella Frostrup in CE pushing a buggy.
I don't know who anne marie duff is.
You cheery little sunbeam Busby! Where have you been hiding?
Come on Busby, lighten up, it can't all be history lessons on here.
Marianne from Make Me a Supermodel
Now come on. I've no idea who this person is, but I'll wager that there are people registered on this board more famous than that.

Lots of Peep Show was filmed around here. Some of it in Woody's I think.
Definately in Woody's, we saw some the other night. Quite amusing, but unfortunately funnier than the actual sketch in question. I find them a bit hit and miss. Excellent when it works, complete student dribble when it doesn't.
