Wray Crescent - Friends Meeting, Gardening and Festival

<p>The Friends of Wray Crescent haven't got together for a while - it's high time! We are going to meet at 7.30pm on Tuesday 8th October at N19 Pub, on the corner of Sussex Way and Kingsdown Road. Everyone is welcome. </p><p> We'll be discussing the netting that is proposed by the council to give protection from cricket balls, also whether we'll be running the Festival next year.</p><p> </p><div><div>We'll also be tidying up the flower beds from 2.00pm on Saturday 19th October - come along, the weather will be fine!</div></div>

  • <p>yes, all properly constituted and all that</p><p>as well as the festival we raise money for planting up the flower beds and we've got the council to add 2 swings from locally allocated cash - arriving soon</p><p>come along for the gardening on the 19th</p>

  • Friends of Wray Crescent news:<div><br></div><div>- Tomorrow night: meeting to make plans, including for new play equipment, 7.30 at N19 Pub (Sussex Way)  Please let me know if you have any suggestions for events etc?  and by the way, does anyone know a builder/contractor who would be good at building a treehouse/tree trunk play feature?</div><div><br></div><div>- Gardening afternoon from 2.00 this Saturday: come and help tidy up, eat biscuits and cake, and meet your neighbours.</div><div><br></div><div>Wray Crescent would be a fine spot for a BBQ - we could maybe get the key for the toilet too! </div>
