  • I think Quentin Pickard showed me one. And there is one in John Hinshelwood's History of Stroud Green. Would you mind rebuilding the church that was there, it was quite pretty...

  • Many thanks Arkady and gardener-joe. I agree, Arkady, the old church looks nicer than the present one!<br><br>We're trying to find out whether there was a replacement cross erected on the war memorial, as it seems likely that the old crucifix shown in the photo alongside the old church would have been damaged and removed when the old church was. This was damaged in 1987 and has never been replaced. If anybody has any images of the war memorial from after WWII i'd be very grateful.
