Yes, she's been called Beetroot for a year and a half! Detritus called her Ian completely out of the blue the other day. Which was a surprise to all of us, including Detritus.

Keep him indoors...I have to physically shoehorn him out of the door! If he had his way he would only ever venture as for as the corner shop, Detritus is not a fan of the world outside 'too full of other people' he says. Beetroot has a middle name. Elizabeth, after her glorious Majesty, as she came to live with us in the Diamond Jubilee year.
