shifting and storing recommendations?

I have to clear a whole load of stuff out of the sitting room for a couple of weeks while the floor is replaced (the horror... it has dropped several inches and it has to be done). Has anyone used any of the local storage places? Views and recommendations very helpful. And if anyone can suggest movers (or a man-with-van) who would do a Sunday move without charging the earth I'd also be interested! I can drive a van, but lifting sofas defeats me. <div><br></div><div>Save me from home improvements. I can't believe people do this for fun.</div>

Call the big yellow van company 02036000151 I hired a van for tomorrow morning for 2 hours £39 all in. That includes congestion and £5 fee to get into the flower market. You can ask the driver to help load for extra. But I am more than willing to help shift stuff I am starting to think it might be my place in life.
