Sign up process doesn't work

I have a neighbour who wants to join this site, so I gave them an invite and they went through the sign up process.<div><br></div><div>Some time later - nothing.  Nada.   Nix.   Zilch.     As if she never existed.</div><div><br></div><div>Doesn't seem to be working I fear.</div><div><br></div><div>Is it automated, or does she have to wait until a human being gets around to processing it?</div><div><br></div><div>@funnyITbloke ?    </div><div><br></div><div>Now wonder there are fewer and fewer people posting!</div>
