I could just add a Celeb category, but I don't want to do that without Overlord Andy's permission as he'll try and ban me again for usurping his authority.
@david - maybe we can unfuckup the old one before making a new one.
of course, this is very close to the 'gawker stalker' idea http://www.gawker.com/stalker/
and whilst I'm on it, let's steal this idea too
http://www.gawker.com/news/shirts/view-slogans-227091.php
"I joined Scientology and all I got was this lousy, short, untalented, over-controlling movie star."
one for David "I have no doubt that your children are extraordinary, but I don't want to hear anything about them."
@andy, what's to unfuck?
sorry david - i think the map overlay is being bluecoated in the office. it's fine everywhere else.
I'm a bit concerned at the pedestal Mr Pegg seems to have been put on in this forum. It would probably scare him.
Or perhaps he's pro the Dog Poo Mud Bath Mugging Mayhem Super Parkland Walk hell hole - it's really not very constructive to distill these things down to silly names, is it Ali?
Since when did we need to be constructive?
I like it that you still added 'super' after Dog Poo Mugging Mayhem.
Dog Poo Mugging Mayhem sounds like a badly translated Japanese computer game from the 80's
We don't, it's purely an observation.
What type of dog is it?
Terrible!
Sorry, I thought you asked how did it smell.
It can't, it hasn't got a nose.
Some friends came round to dinner last week, and saw Mr Pegg on Crouch Hill walking down towards The Noble.
Good spot. Though I hardly ever see Pegg in the Noble anymore.
Not to be an egomaniac about it, I worry that we scared him off.
Top notch. Kissed by a celeb Anyone else better that?
(though, as I've said, I think there are some more famous members of this forum)
I think crossing the line into live stalking.....
...I don't know, it makes me uncomfortable.
I'm afraid to say I don't who MC Storm is. Is he in a popular beat combo? Hang on, I'll myspace him.
@ Tabbie - are you a refugee from Norfolk? I lived in King's Lynn for four years and the thought of it still makes me feel a bit strange. Mind you, nothing as exciting as snogging a happy hardcore DJ ever happened to me there...:)
We often see the bloke from, now cast your minds back, waaaay back in time, to the Yellow Pages advert, that floppy haired bloke with a very messy flat, who is desperately trying to tidy it up in a hurry... we regularly see him plodding up SGR / Crouch Hill... Star spot or What??!
I like Liz's post about rubbish other places we've all lived, so...
My mum and her partner of the time moved there when I was 14, so I did my GCSEs and A levels at Springwood. Lived on Springwood Estate for about 3 years then North Wootton for 1. You?
Isn't KL Kuala Lumpur? Sp.
Nick Berry!
I don't even know who superhans is!
Peep show.
It's quite apt as the opening sequence was filmed in CE, a long time ago when silly Italian megadeli was an old fashioned sort of Electricity Board.
The bulk of the show was filmed in Croyers though I believe
@ Tabbie - I'm starting to think we need to start a separate thread for this! It was 1989-93, roughly. If you were there at the same time, then we were probably in the orchestra together, as I was in Springwood Orchestra, Concert Band and WNJYO Orchestra. Scary small world. Nightlife mainly consisted of the Wens, or Knights Hill, and the odd visit to the cheesy clubs in town which I can't remember the names of. You?
Mr Woolley. He was a strange man. I played in his string ensemble too, which basically involved playing Pachalbel's Canon in as many Norfolk churches as possible. If you only started going to the Wenns in 1993 then you're probably younger than me (or didn't start drinking until you were 18, which would have been very restrained!).
yes but not telling.
I AM JAMES McAVOY!

Blah blah blah, anyway Glyn, why were you up so early this morning?
'Opal eye' I call him after a special type of cat.
I've certainly seen him since Xmas and he seemed much better - he speaks pretty fluent hindi you know. I like it when it gets lighter in the morning and he roams the streets singing as well.
I once briefly chatted to Tim Wheeler at the Dairy music quiz (prior to refurb).
It depends what you define as celebrities. From Glyn's list, I would say that only one of them is properly famous (Pegg). Him and McAvoy are SG A list. John Simm would be B list. The rest are much more low rent: two ex Eastenders, one newsreader, one reality-TV-show-contestant-from-ages-ago, one so-so TV presenter and someone out of an indie band. So, no need to feel concerned really.
@ Glyn, this is not to diss your list, just to reassure krazykappa that he won't spend his whole time feeling nervous in the golden land of Stroud Green...
I think we need to redefine our categories - I had to when I bumped into Lauren Bacall in Muji, Covent Garden. I think she is A list.
