    I trying to do a music player on my latest project, and it seem to have great difficulty uploading mp3s.

    Does anyone know a good free hosting service to use as a private file dump?

    I know at least omni-drive has a free account. Most the others probably do too.

    I doubt any of them let you link to files you're storing there. Sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick.

    @David - I've been playing with a ning.com site, and been trying to get an XSPF music player to work on it. But ning.com, although allowing file uploads, is really struggling with mp3 uploads. So I'm after a file dump that can link a xspf playlist to.

    Ya dig?

    For development purposes I'll sort you some space and bandwidth, but I wouldn't want it serving out to loads of ning members in the long term, send me an email about requirements and stuff so we can sort it out away from the SGR crowd..

    @Andy - don't panic, I've a seperate account, it won't be on our server.

    I'm okay, I'm trying out some of these hosts. Box.net seems to be the easiest to use so far
