    After reading up on Real Pubs, the guys behind the Old Dairy refurb, I meandered onto other chains out of boredom.

    Is there a single worse chain than Scream Pubs? Wheatherspoons are generally pretty moody but they do budget beer for the budget conscious well. Scream Pubs don't have anything other than a silly slogan ("It's a scream"), shit music and that pointless reference to Munch's work.

    I spotted three ambulances in the space of 5 days outside our local weatherspoons last week.... (and that's just whenever I happened to be walking past)

    The chain that own 'The World's End' has to be a bit grim too, doesn't it? I overheard someone saying it's been sold for £3m.
