    Has anyone had a bathroom fitted recently? Is there anyone you would specifically recommend or not recommend?

    nope, haven't had a bathroom fitted recently. However, I was in UDesign on Stroud Green Road the other day and they seem very nice and helpful. When I was in there before Christmas they said that they do all the installation and help you design it as well.

    By the way, long time no speak. How you doing?

    I know this is an old thread but it saves me starting a new one ... I need a 'man who can' help me plaster / add tiles / install a bathroom ... etc.

    Hi,

    If you're after a decent professional, I'm about to have my bathroom fitted by the man who did my kitchen. His name's Dave and he's very reasonable and a fun chap to have around while all the chaos is unfolding. He saved us a whole load of hassle and did a great job. He can do all the plumbing and tiling as well as carpentry, and his assistant is a qualified electrician, which means they can tackle any problems on site when they arise. It also means you needn't worry about co-ordinating or queueing-up craftsmen.
