Motor-scooter phone theft on Stroud Green Rd by bustop outside Italian Farmers

<span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: 24px;">I just watched two kids on a motor scooter drive up onto the pavement by the bustop at the end of Albert Rd and snatch a smartphone from a woman there before accelerating away.</span><div style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: 24px;">This was at 13.00 in broad, blue midwinter daylight.  There were LOTS of people around and everyone helped, comforted and supported her while expressing the torrents of bile that erupted once they/we’d worked out what had happened. It was over in a flash. An adjacent bus-driver was confident that he’d got them on his cctv.</div>

This happened to my girlfriend last year at about 8.30am on Tollington Park. They also mounted the pavement and grabbed it out of her hand and rode off. People were around but I guess it happened all so quickly. Luckily she wasn't hurt. Scumbags! <div><br></div>
