Finsbury Park Stabbing
Don't know if you've heard anything about the stabbing in Finsbury Park last Saturday - by the Manor House Gate. Apparently looked like a turf war incident, according to one person who witnessed it. It was reported to the police immediately, and the council are aware, but the fact that it was in our local park on a Saturday afternoon in full view of people is disturbing. There's a feeling of increased drug dealing in the park, possibly made worse by the lack of staff due to council cuts. If you witness anything that concerns you do please report it, and if you put it on this forum it will help keep us all informed. I know the Friends of Finsbury Park - see under Local Links - are concerned about safety in the park and it would be good if you let them know too.<br>
