I thought I might revive this thread to see if anyone could recommend me a carpenter?
Our french windows expand and get stuck every winter and I was hoping to get someone to have a look at them.

I've used a carpenter called Davy who replaced a sash window (in conjunction with the window people on SGR) and it has been fine. He also did a couple of doors for me. Whisper if you would like his number.
