Change of venue!!! Book Club: 16th May - My Ántonia by Willa Cather
8pm in the White Lion on Stroud Green Road
The next book is "My Ántonia", published in 1918 by American author Willa Cather.
"Widely recognized as Willa Cather's finest book and one of the outstanding novels of American literature, My Ántonia deals with the life of early American pioneers in Nebraska.
Infused with a gracious passion for the land, My Ántonia is a deeply moving portrait of an entire community and its way of life."
New members always welcome - just read the book and turn up. We usually sit near the back of the pub and will be displaying copies of the book.
