Every time I turn on my computer, it makes the mac startup noise (listen here), which for some reason nearly always makes me think of a bassline that goes 'dum dum di-dumdum'

Today, I finally worked out why.

It's the same (ish) noise and the opening few seconds of "You've Got the Love" by Source, featuring Candi Staton.



Mystery solved. (Though I think I'm thinking of one of the bass-heavy remixes rather than the version on youtube)

Anyway, this is what's going on in my head. I'm just really pleased to have worked it out.
