I love the property the gym is in.
It seems that pretty much the whole area is up for sale.
£55k: Cafe on Fonthill Road
£14k Travel Agent
£67k Dream River Cafe This seems a bit steep given takings are only £2.5k per week.
£65k Garden House Chinese Restaurant Never been here, but they are apparently taking 4k per week.
The gym is the one that looks interesting. It needs investment though. Maybe you could use that building for something other than a gym?
I'd love to convert the gym to an open plan office share. Anybody else? I'd be prepared to think more about this.
Sounds like they want to keep it a gym, though?
Also, that pizza place does pretty good pizza! Of course not patch on the big two, but there are occasions where that's overkill.
Matt - I've thought about this too (and bored quite a lot people about it too). I'm not sure the gym is worth the premium, but there are other buildings round here that could serve that purpose.
I used to have a desk in this setup in Primrose Hill. One round here would be really good.
The photos of Chalcot Place make it look much spacier than it really was, don't you think Andy? The community shared office of Stroud Green rears its head again!
yeah - primrose hill had a sort of student newspaper vibe that i quite liked. a bit battered and scruffy.
I thought about it over the weekend and came to the same conclusion.
I'd be interested in a shard office, but I can't bear the thought of working near Fonthill Road or in that place near the Park entrance on Oxford Road. So I'd have to really like the place. And the price. Not sure how much I'd use it, either, so terms would have to be flexible?
Never done this before, it's either clients offices or home for me.
