This thread, started an hour and a half before the Champs League, suggests the QFs are fixed and predicts the result.

Post subject: Possible leak of draw
Rumour going around draw has been leaked..... this is no doubt rubbish but if Rumour is true it's LFC - arsenal and Chelsea - fenerbache and manure v roma No bookies will take bets on the draw either....... Let the draw commence. Comeeee on!

I like the idea of a good ole match fixing scandal but I just can't really see it. It doesn't really matter who plays who.

Still this is a pretty depressing draw for Arsenal (and Liverpool). It's meant to be a European cup for god's sake, for us to win it now we have to beat Liverpool, then no doubt Chelsea, and then most probably Man U. I could feel the magic of the tournament evaporating as I watched the draw happen.

The theory is that there was little demand in the rest of europe for an all english semi and final.

(my 48-1 bet on Roma for the CL is looking smart though. And Arsenal were 20-1 before it started)

I quite like the idea of rigging the draw through temperature. I'm now trying to think of ways of how you could rig it. Small motors in the balls that you can remotely switch on?

    ...

    Ahahahahaha!
How hard could it be to manipulate the forum post times?

The thing that I refuse to believe is that the story was broken by a scouser
