Bye bye Woody's

They were changing the signs on Woody's this morning when we went past and had Pak signs to replace them, I asked the chap what had happened and he said that Woody's had been bought out by Pak following a spell of bad business after the rat/oven story. So sadly the diversity on SGR reduces again.

AND, I also noticed this morning that another wig shop has sprung up next to Los Guaduales where that dodgy shop selling MFI furniture for £500 used to be. The signage is luminous pink but the font is definitely PAQ.

Is this true? Can we have independent verification, please? Just how many of the 36 (37?) branches of Woody's empire does this apply to?

Mine wasn't an April Fool Colette, but I don't know about tosscat's comment. I presumed he (she?) was talking about Woody Grill when the rat oven nest was mentioned...

The deli's opened up again - this time with some rather interesting furniture which reminds me of Little Chef 'restaurants', c. 1981.
