    This is my first post so I guess I should introduce myself first: Joe here as you can see from my uninspired screen name. I've lived in Stroud Green for 3 years, originally from NYC and think this is a gret nabe.

    And I wanted to ask, does anyone know how long i.e., the mileage, the Finsbury Park loop (roadway) is? I started running again and am curious.

    I've measured it (in Nike+ equipped trainers) quite a few times and it's just slightly under 2km (1.92km).

    Not sure if it still exists, but there used to be an official race "The Finsbury Park 5 Miles". Three and three quarter laps of the loop. By the time you get to the final lap, the hill parallel to Endymion Rd. is particularly delightful.

    I remember going to see Flex at an exhibition years ago, doesn't seem that hard/wierd now - at the time the entire cinema was in a stunned silence. Was a really exhausting few minutes back then. He is brilliant if pretty hard to watch at times.
