    Does anyone know who's responsible for the recent expansion of the Stroud Green wikipedia page? It's gone from those dodgy lines about Rivieras and Paris boulevards to a veritable feast of historical data.

    My favourite part is the description of the annual meeting of the Stroud Green Aldermen and the mayor in 1765:

    "The whole was conducted with all [reasonable] Decorum; but what contributed in a great Measure to damp their Satisfaction was the lnebriety of his Worship's Sword-Bearer, who having imbibed large Drenches of Claret and Hock, was rendered unfit to scale the Gates and Stiles belonging to their Grounds...

    I have recently updated the Stroud Green, London Wikipedia page with a load of historical info. If anyone can upload any suitable images to Wikipedia for use on the page, that woould be cool. Let me know when it is done, via the Stroud Green, London discussion page, and I will add them into the main page.

    Alternatively, if you know how to, go right ahead and add them to the page at an appropriate point, or if you wnat to add loads of pics, perhaps make an image gallery as a separate section on the page?

    NB I have dropped a similar note to the Stroud Green Flickr group but since I guess there will be overlap, this is why I am posting to Finsbury Park Flickr group as well.

    He sent me a message on flickr looking for photos of the area. I don't think he registered on here though.
