    Hmmm. After reading up and all, Ken seems to be the sensible option to me. But I don't like him. This will go round in circles all day in my head.

    No it doesn't I'm afraid. This angle was the first thing that crossed my mind, but it didn't even dent my dislike of Ken. If it were only that simple.

    you could put someone else as your first choice (but not Boris!) and then have ken as your second choice?

    vote ken to keep out boris, then vote something else - Tory, Lib Dem, Green or BNP for the Assembly. What you're choosing then is to keep out Boris, but having an Assembly that does more to keep the mayor in check. Your two others vote balance the one for mayor (even though the one is more important)

    of course, if you buy this argument and vote tory, the risk is that boris wins and the assembly goes with him, so you're best off voting for one of the others.
