Whilst out walking Thursday afternoon, I remembered to pop into Style Opticians (between Pappagone and the Locksmiths) to have an eye test. There wasn't a queue so they fitted me in straight away.

I've been going there since 2002 and their testing routine has varied a lot in quality. Today, however, it was spot on. They have one of those new machines that can pretty much get your eye prescription spot on, leaving the optician to fine tune to personal taste.

Got myself some contact lenses, so I can wear some proper shades this summer. And they're fitting new lenses in my specs, I have to go back later today for 15 minutes for them to do it.

£15 for the eye test and great value new lenses. They have a great choice of frames and can order in anything you want.

Very highly recommended.
