Cafe to work in

I am newly returned to FP after being away for c 3 years. I do freelancing and I am also studying so I often work at home. However sometimes its nice to get out and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good cafes to take a laptop and work in?

Blimey. Where do we start? I am as I write reclining in the window of the Park Theatre cafe, upstairs. It's perfect - quiet, comfortable, attractive, light, spacious, congenial company, OK coffee, not in the least crowded, and NO MUSIC. At least, there wasn't, until a couple across the way got something going on one of those bloody gadgets you younger types are all wedded to. Damn. Time to move on? We'll see. I'm reluctant but... oh Christ...
