I used to like chess, but would only accept opponents as weak as myself. What's Krappy doing here? He told us we were krap, and I agreed with him. And now he has rejoined us in the merde. I am cautious abt SG.org and the real world, but might consider a game with Merdoso, on condition a) it's in a local coffee shop, and not a pub, and b)he lets me win. And what's Sutent doing here at this hour? Pawn to King's 4, Sutent. And mine's a macchiato.

This thread has had me laughing quite a lot! The avatars were, of course, allocated automatically. There have been some wonderful coincidences. Instructions as to how to change your Avatar have been added to the Welcome to Stroud Green thread. Let me know if you get stuck or don't think they are clear.

I had the same problem. I suspect that at some point in the past you tried to upload an image to your profile, as I did. That won't have worked, but your profile is now looking for that broken image link. Go into your profile and cancel (or replace) that image. Or, if you get stuck, I can do it for you.
