Doctors surgery - recommendation

Hello! This is my first post on shroudgreen.org. We've moved back to the area and we need to register with a surgery. I see there is the Stroud Green Medical Clinic and 157 Medical Clinic. I've been trying to find reviews online. The former doesn't seem to get good reviews. I'm currently pregnant so am envisaging using the surgery a little more than normal so keen to find the best one in the area! Any help appreciated. Thank you!

We registered with the Vale practice in Crouch End when we moved here over a year ago. i believe are a bit bigger than Crouch Hill. They have been good so far.

We registered with The Vale too when we moved here six years ago. Very good.

If those ones don't work out then Andover Medical Centre, on Hornsey Road, is excellent

Em - can recommend the clinic on Hanley rd. Never had any issues there. Hanley rd primary care centre.

I visited the 157 Practice in SGR for the first time in ages.It seems to be going through a bit of a transformation and has been "done up"There is a new Doctor, Dr Magdy Metwalli.He is in his first week and was excellent for what was effectivly an annual MOT for me. Explained everything clearly and in detail when requested so I now understand blood test results etc.The surgery also seems to have new web site and you can sign up for Patient Access which allows you to book via the internet.<a href="http://www.the157medicalpractice.nhs.uk/">http://www.the157medicalpractice.nhs.uk/</a>I was really inpressed by everything and Dr Metwalli is really aproachable so I recomend him without hestitation

I've been with Stroud Green clinic for a 3 years and have been v happy with them - you're almost always able to get an appointment on the day if it's something urgent and the doctors & reception are both really good.

i was with the Vale practice but had a very bad experience and have moved to Crouch Hall Rd surgery which so far I really like. Dr Benson is great, and Dr Gore (fab surname for a doctor).
