Didn't know about the app - that's a great idea. I've noticed a fair few mattresses, bits of broken furniture, etc on our street and nearby. I wonder if it's because Islington now charges for bulky waste collections? (£30+).

Seriously? The Stapleton was pretty chilled on a recent visit. The Old Dairy isn't that rowdy mid-week. The Hopsmiths is quiet. The W B Yeats is very welcoming and chilled out - they only have music once a week or so?
