R&J on that topic there's no licensing or planning application appeared, so not somewhere that is going to serve booze (like a deli probably would!) or indeed something like a bar or restaurant.

On the tube application: it seems to be just closing off the entrances to the ticket hall - not to the tunnel itself. The plans only show two entrances being sealed, not the third which goes directly into the tunnel.

You can also use the "permission to park" form on the Islington website, which is intended for builders and other contractors. It's more expensive, but you can print out the documentation at home (making it a good emergency standby).
@gardener-joe well according to the article the Old Dairy, Faltering Fullback and Front Room are in Harringay but Rub and Boulangerie Bon Matin are in Hornsey (along with the Haberdashery in Crouch End).
I think that's just for an unadorned baguette. The pricing looked a bit variable to me; the bread was definitely expensive but the cheese (sorry to bang on about it) didn't seem that bad against even a supermarket deli counter standard.

The sign on the window says that it is being refurbished; I'm afraid I didn't note the date that it's reopening but I don't think it will be long. Looked like they were just freshening up paint etc.
We popped in too. Seemed very popular (I suppose free food and drink helps!) and they had clearly put effort in. From what I gather it's a family business. So good luck to them.

Nothing this time but a year or so back we had our windscreen wiper and aerial snapped off. Much sympathy therefore! (And, I should add, nothing similar at any point in the six years we've lived here - so it is still pretty rare ...)
