I noticed that the tapas place in Crouch End that used to be called La Bota on Tottenham Lane just before the Picture House, is now called La Fabrica. Wonder if it's the same people as SG.
From memory, La Forchetta in its various incarnations was the first one. I also remember an Italian deli near Mind: I think it was called "Aromi e Gusti".
I would imagine the Wetland Centre at Manor House is great for kids. I haven't been yet but the counterpart in Barnes is lovely. They run lots of activities, too.
@N19lurker how is customer service? As I said, I am annoyed at Virgin 's price hike but everytine I call an engineer, they turn up on time and resolve the issue. I certainly wouldn't mind a cheaper bill, though...
I am a Virgin customer (broadband only) and have been with them for 9 years.

Islington issues letters if your hedge is too overgrown and causes an obstruction on the pavement. As already pointed out, it can be a nuisance for visually impaired people and those on mobility scooters.
Popped in for a coffee, nice environment. Luckily for me music wasn't loud (CSN&Y). Antonio, the guy who served me was top notch. Will go back for brunch soon.
I have had a pizza and it was very nice, Turkish style with spicy minced lamb, yogurt and red onion.
Must try the main menu next time. The food is definitely much better than before.
I don't understand the rationale of dumping stuff outside charity shops when they are closed, knowing damn well that the stuff gets ruined, stolen or rained on, hence defying the objective of donating to charity and making staff's lives harder as th…
