Our girls are both at Highbury Fields. We easily got in a couple of years ago, but as it's just been awarded "Outstanding" it may soon get a bit oversubscribed.
And in our view it really deserves the Outstanding - really supportive of all the girls…
we've had rats on occasion - backing onto Parkland Walk means they'll always be around and you can't poison a public place so it's just something we keep an eye on and have to deal with occasionally.
Dennis the rat man told me some stuff that might…
I'd love cameras up and some fines being imposed. It's incredibly dangerous, particularly as when the pavements get busy people are walking on the road but not thinking to look behind for someone plowing through at speed in the hope of not getting c…
i think each will happily co-exist with their own customer base and if I was Jack I'd keep it exactly as it is. Meanwhile I'm looking forward to a somewhat more interesting choice in Clapton Craft
It's worth reading the full Police report as in many ways it is very positive about Fabric. I think pushing clubs and venues out of central London is a huge problem for the soul of London - very sad
Meantime Fabric are still fighting on and going…
Jon Snow or should i say Kit Harrington is in Oxford Road. I read somewhere he calls it "the house that Thrones built" which made me laugh and possibly proves him to be quite down to earth
Good news on Dotori - this from their Facebook page:
Hello customers!

As a proud owner of a short legged pooch, we're up for it - he's a Sealyham terrier (who were part bred from Corgis at the end of the last century). He's white with an eye patch if that helps.
fascinating. you can also see all the housing that was in place on woodstock and ennis road before they realised they needed a school, knocked the houses down and put Stroud Green Primary there. All the playground drainage problems are as a result o…

You might want to wait a few more weeks - Virgin is really great during the day but is suffering over-demand issues in the evenings at the moment - they tell me we'll have all the new ultra-fast wires up by end of year'/very early new year and at th…
I think we're due the bikes with the dynamo attachments - the issue around here has always been that they could provide bikes but they wouldn't be used very far because of the hills to Crouch End, Ally Pally and Muswell Hill. So we're getting the e-…
They have thought about doing it (we asked!) but the set up costs are extraordinarily high. Maybe if the pop-up works well they'll be able to see more of a business case for it. We order online and collect from there all the time - really handy
the focus on parking in the objections may be because all those living close have had council headed letter through the door from the 3 local councillors making everyone aware of the proposed development and noting that the previous 2 plans were rej…
having had a good look at the plan, it does look like an amazingly large number of flats in a tiny area. i can't see why the developer would be trying to fit so many in except for the rental income, but it looks too dense to be very pleasant and as …
I too think what we need most of all is more parkies - to keep the place clean, keep an eye on what''s going on and making the whole park feel cared for - then others would feel they should look after it too. An more permanent outdoor music space a…
@timgallagher - is there anything that can be done about the state of Finsbury Park - it really is a disgrace: rubbish everywhere, nowhere feels clean and i feel like i can't take the kids there anymore, it's just too dirty. We put up with the conce…
I'll show my hand early and say I'm with @Arkady on this one. It's a great addition to the area on many different criteria
I think a blank canvas at the back might well be something of an inspired thought - think of it as a blank sheet of canvas ont…
