    Was at the evening service tonight at St Saviours... it was actually really Christmassy and very goose-pimply at times with the choir and lovely string quartet. Worth a butchers next year for those who missed it.

    i went too - the choir and soloists were lovely, but i felt exhausted by all the attempts to convert me. lots of adverts for the alpha course, and about half an hour of chat trying to link god's grace to the modern age. star wars jokes and x factor lyrics with tenuous links to religion. it was worse than thought for the day. i wanted to sing rudolph the red nosed reindeer.
