Hideous lights

I've just seen the new street-lamps. They are hideous. And completely unsuitable for a conservation area. There's a perfectly good example street lamps in Mount Pleasant Crescent or failing that they could paint the old ones, which I quite like.

Why no consultation? My wife picked something up very recently and mailed back to the council, but never got a response.

    I have one of these soviet era monstrosities parked right outside my house. The MPC ones are much more expensive. I suggest we dig up the ones in Cameron's street and bring them to Harringay at no expense to the tax payer. Apparently the old ones are rotten and liable to fall over at any time. Pity really as that describes me to a T.

    I hope that having lighting on the Mount Pleasant Villas railway bridge might stop whoever it is that has the mega-pooing dog leaving it everywhere.
