Hot weather/aroma issues incl BBQ s

Good the weather is a scorcher and getting used to the BBQ smells in Lorne Road Jonty is veggie and hates all that meat burning tho. Many prob in this area in hot weather is terrible smell we think from Lorne rd drains ( there are other theories but not nice ones). We have already put down jayes fluid and ask others to do to avoid sun bathing with a peg on your nose !! If only the council would sort this out.... Chang

If you want a truly appalling smell try the bottom of Durham Road. It stinks like an open sewer. I kniw it's not strictly Stroud Green but it turns my stomach.

Lorne rd update: I eat my words. The council came earlier with a van and spent 90 mins spraying disinfectant and shoving sticks k Down drains. No idea if this the the right thing but they came out on the hottest day (think of the overtime!!). The stink seems to have lessened but the bleach probably killed my sense of smell. Good old Harringay. Chang
