Thanks for the tip, will give Danny a shout. Don't know any flooring specialists - apart from the place in Crouch End, towards the swimming pool. Oh, and this place up in Chingford http://www.reclaimed.uk.com/ does good reclaimed stuff<br>

I thoroughly recommend <a href="http://www.horncastleroofing.co.uk">Horncastle Roofing</a> who did mine a few years ago, with excellent results.   Really nice family run firm, they do scaffolding in-house and have specialist lead and zinc workers who have been with them for years.<div><br></div><div>Be very, very careful when getting quotes for roofing work - there are an awful lots of cowboys in the roofing industry. If replacing a roof you almost certainly need building control involved, and will need to bring insulation up to scratch to the work signed off. </div><div><span style="font-size: 10pt; ">You may also need party wall notices if fitting new flashings into shared parapet walls.   Many companies I got quotes from mentioned neither, and I suspect, didn't bother.  </span></div><div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div>
