Double the difference in Tesco

Can anyone confirm that when you get overcharged in Tesco (which seems to be regularly) you should get double the difference back when you complain? Thanks.

I got this a month or two back, though supermarket offers are ever-changing so who knows if it still holds.

A quick internet search seems to reveal that this is the case but some stores will try to get out of it. If they do, complain to head office and they'll sort it out.

Cheers Idoru. That's what I'd found too. The reason I asked is becasue SG Tesco had never offered this to me and I wanted to know the experience of others. I will stand my ground next time!
