The Enemy Within: When the Rich get richer....
The unequal distribution of wealth and its disastrous side-effects are the subject of a talk to be given by Martin Wilkinson at Brickworks Community Centre, London N4 on August 24.
'The Enemy Within’ explores the link between income inequality and rising rates of crime, ill health, poverty and environmental degradation - and outlines a way out of our current crisis.
Martin Wilkinson is a member of the Equality Trust, founded by his brother Richard and Kate Pickett, co-authors of the key texts The Spirit Level and The Inner Level.
The Enemy Within, organised by the Friends of Brickworks, takes place at Brickworks Community Centre, 42 Crouch Hill, London N4 4BY at 7.30pm on August 24. Entry is free, donations welcome.
