Local portrait photographer

Anyone know of a decent portrait photographer round here? I need a new mug shot for a web page. I don't want to look like a stuffed shirt or a prat. Thought I might get a family shot done at the same time to stick on the piano. Any ideas?

    My boyfriend's dad does portrait photography, he is based in Hemel Hempstead but would happily come down to you (and probably stop by ours for a cuppa while he's at it!) His website is www.krisgruber.com and has his phone and email address on there.

    Thanks for all the suggestions. I've decided to go for black and white, stylish, straight to camera, quite close, interesting background. Now what I need is an ace background in Stroud Green - brickwork, arch, window light, foliage, shop window. Anyone got a number for Jane Bown? (Only joking. I once did a job with her though. She kept her cameras in a Tesco bag).
