The other bit of useful info is the current make up of Haringey Council. This is from the Council website:

The Council is made up of 57 councillors. Each of the 19 wards that make up the borough has three councillors, elected by residents of that ward every four years. The current political composition of the Council is:

    Labour – 29 councillors
    Liberal Democrats – 26 councillors
    Conservatives - 1 councillor
    Independent - 1 councillor

Currently the Labour Party holds the majority of seats on the Council

Looks like overall gains for Labour in Harringey Council though, although one ward still being recounted.

I think that it was fascinating, throughout the videos and all the campaign materials, to hear candidates talk about housing, crime and council tax. No-one from any party seemed to want to talk about social services and children's services. Which struck me as amazing, given recent history.

Just wanted to say thanks and well done for all the election coverage here on sg.org. Clearly a lot of work involved with the videos and all - great stuff, and genuinely informative.
