  BT seems to work quite well but is a little bit more expensive Try restarting your router If you router is not connected to the point where the BB comes into the house check the wiring you can loose up to 50% of your speed on internal wiring Guess your choice of provider depends on if you want all the Virgin TV or if you’re stuck in a contract If you want to find out what speeds are possible try this <http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange_mapping>; Follow the instructions and you will see what you can get. I tried it for Flat a 23 Lancaster Road and found out what they can get

  Oh also there is an API on Samknows so I guess a BB speed checker could be put on here

  I'm round the corner on Cornwall Road, never had any problems with our Virgin internet, but the mobile reception is rubbish.

  Im on the east side of Stapleton Hall and our virgin mobile internet is quite bad.

  If it's cable then forget about mobile reception, it will have nothing to do with it. Virgin can drive you mad when there are outages but my one has been pretty problem-free for 2 years or so and good speeds.
