•
Misscara - I think the police are aware of the prescence of the Algerian criminals in the blackstock rd;but did you tell Stroud Green Safer Neighbourhoods Police about potential SG rd criminals?Maybe you can ask old bill to come round to your flat and let them know the information you have;with a cuppa and a jammy dodger.

London Borough of Haringey

Stroud Green Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Telephone: 020 8721 2837

Email: StroudGreen.SNT@met.police.uk

www.met.police.uk/saferneighbourhoods

I wonder, as the scrawny robber was ‘fleeing’ did you shout down the street to call him “filthy” and “dirty”, or did you just tell him to go back to his own country?

 • You should report it. Even if your description of them is hazy, it's better than nothing and means the police will have an eye out should it happen to someone else.
That would seem obvious to me.
 • Yes, especially if people know where they live.
 •
Misscara, have you emailed or phoned Stroud Green Safer Neighbourhoods Police to ask the police to come round to your home when you finish work;so you can tell them all you know? If your Algerian contacts think they know where these criminals live surely an investigation can be done to close the net on the thieves;if you talk to the police or crimestoppers that is.It is not as if you even have to go to the police station, police visit you.

I am not sure why you have been reluctant to report this, surely it's important to report things like this?

 • Someone tweeted yesterday that her bag was snatched from the Old Dairy. She lost everthing - wallet, cash, keys, phone. So please do be vigilent.
