Kirstie's Homemade Britain has probably passed you by Andy, it's probably not most men's bag of chips but it's generally seen as a good thing. Celebrating British crafts and whatnot, and lots of stuff featuring the W.I.

For anyone thinking about joining us (or just curious) - we now have a website! Have a look at www.stroudgreenwi.webs.com. You can also follow us on Twitter - @stroudgreenwi.

Our W.I. currently meets at 7.30 on the second Tuesday of every month at The Hideaway in Ennis Road. All women are most welcome to join.

Please email us at StroudGreenWI@yahoo.co.uk for further information about out meetings.

Next meeting is Tuesday 10th July at 7:30pm at The Hideaway, Ennis Road. We'll be getting an insight into the world of olive oil production from a local resident. See you there!
That's me and I'm looking forward to it, bring your taste buds, ladies. If anyone knows how I can get hold of a digital projector to borrow for the evening so I can project a few pictures from my laptop on the Hideaway walls, we will be able to have a much more enchanting evening.

Tomorrow's meeting will be our annual Summer Social, just for members.

Our next open W.I. meeting is on September 11th when we will be making jam! Hooray for tradition! 7.30 at The Hideaway in Ennis Rd.

@andy I wouldn't have got the W.I. idea of the ground if it wasn't for this forum, I had no idea how to find enough likeminded ladies. We definitely owe you a pot of jam and a cake or two!
Slightly belated notice - apologies - but our meeting is tonight, 7.15 for a prompt 7.30pm start, at The Hideaway on Ennis Road (white metal railings outside, buzz to be let in). All women welcome!
