Be aware that next Tuesday, July 26th, will be STROUD GREENE DAY, commemorating ye striking of ye Stroud Greene Medall on occasione of ye appointment of ye right honourable and distinguished Sir Thomas Legge of this parish as Mayor of YE ANCIENT CORPORATION OF STROUD GREENE on this day, 26th July, 1773 at a Monunentall Piss-Up at a local taverne.
A Publick singing of ye original and tuneful Stroud Greene Song will take place on this daye at 17.73pm precisely around Ye Bench of Despair opposite ye White Lion Public House on Stroud Greene Road (ye original place of merriement, ye Stapleton Tavern, being unavailable due to loss of its musical and dancing licence).
Additional publick readings from ye bodice-ripping Moll Flanders will then ensue followed by unbridled Frolicking and Cavorting.
Reminder, ye Stroud Greene Song begins as follows:

Forsooth @RocketRon, thou art the first Man of StroudGreen to put a name forward to join ye choir of ye Ancient Corporation of Stroud Green, therefore until ye reste come forward, thou wilt be singing alone. Righte sadly, more are needed.
